天美麻豆 served as special counsel to Long Hill Township in connection with the sale of the Township’s sewer system to New Jersey American Water. 天美麻豆 prepared the procurement documents and drafted and negotiated the agreement of sale. The agreement to purchase the sewer system was approved by voters in Long Hill Township by a two-to-one margin in a referendum held in November 2019. As part of the acquisition agreement, New Jersey American Water committed to invest more than $13 million in critical sewer system improvements in the first five years after the sale. The proceeds from the sale will eliminate the Township’s debt, freeing up over $1 million in its annual budget.
